Since the passing of the Civil Union law on January first, Delaware has a plethora of couples ready to take the walk down the aisle. While Delaware has plenty of bridal shows on a yearly basis, up to this point there has been no need for one geared toward Civil Unions. That changes this March as the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Events by Sarah Elizabeth and Bloomsberry Flowers host A Civil Affair.

Unlike your normal bridal show this is an un-bridal show. Instead of walking into a room with row after row of vendors you will walk into the DCCA and experience firsthand local vendors at their best. You will encounter vignettes of different styles of décor – rustic, traditional, modern – within these styles you view how these local vendors put their creative wares out for guests to see. Instead of simply just seeing pictures of vendor’s past events you’ll get to see them in person – touch and smell the flowers, taste the cake, witness how an event is executed.

An evening of food, entertainment, cocktails and dancing this will be an event to remember! Held at the DCCA at 200 South Madison Street in Wilmington. Vendors that will be participating in this great event include: Events by Sarah Elizabeth, Bloomsberry Flowers, Harry’s Savoy, singer Sean Reilly and more!
