City Theater Company -- Delaware's Off-Broadway -- is committed to ridding the planet (or at least these parts of it) of complacency, redundancy, indifference and fear; therefore clearing the way for fun, electricity, cool art, and some major chutzpah. CTC believes theater should be filled with big risks, big energy, big fun, and other big stuff we haven't thought of yet. We do stuff that rocks, and we have one hell of a time.
CTC's home for its brand of "immersive theater" is the intimate, 90-seat Black Box on the Wilmington waterfront.
Onoe of CTC's main goals is to celebrate and promote young and emerging actors and playwrights and improvisational comedy through its New Work Series and Fearless Improv team, which provide stages for local original works and give liberating forums to this art.
