All camps run at the Brandywine YMCA are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. Developed exclusively for the camp industry, this nationally recognized program focuses on program quality, health and safety issues, and requires us to review every facet of our operation. Camp Quoowant has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camp experts and has earned this mark of distinction.

Traditional Day Camp

With themes like Rodeo, Fiesta Fun and Color Wars, every camp week is fun-filled and action packed. Campers of all ages (K-11th grade) will experience a variety of activities including art, nature, sports, team-building, field trips (3rd-11th grade only) and swimming.

Preschool Camp

The fun starts early for our littlest campers. Camp Koda provides preschool children with the opportunity to learn, laugh and leap for joy. Campers participate in arts and crafts, swimming, games, stories, music, and fun activities that are age appropriate and centered on a theme. Most sessions are held at the Brandywine YMCA, Monday – Friday from 9 a.m.-12 noon.

Specialty Camp

Something for everyone! These camps include everything from dance to art and cooking. Meet new friends with the same interests while learning new skills and having fun.

Youth Sports Camp

Want to try a new sport? Our summer sports offerings include full and half-day programs for campers entering 1st through 7th grade. Try something new or increase your skills in a low key environment with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship.

Teen Camp

Teen specialty camps are designed to help teens develop leadership skills while having fun. New friends are made through group work, team building, and personal growth activities.
